Teen Program

-To enroll in our Teenage Driver Education Program you must be 15 to 17 years old.
-To qualify for an Intermediate State Driver's License you must be 16 years old. You will be given a Traffic Safety Education Driving Education program, this will allow you to qualify for testing with Washington State Department of Liscensing for a Washington driver's license.

Our Teenage Driver Education Program consists of: 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours behind-the-wheel instruction, and 1 hour of driver observation.

The complete course is five weeks in length. Instruction Permit is required for practice behind-the-wheel driving.

If you are just 15 years old you will need a waiver form from the school to get the instruction permit. If you are 15.5 years old you can get a permit by going to the Department of Licensing with a parent/guardian, ID, and taking the written test. Be sure to have a permit in hand when you get behind-the-wheel. After completion of the Traffic Education Program, parents/guardians should provide a minimum of 50 hours of supervised driving practice, with 10 of them at night, prior to taking the license test.
